Cantons, planning regions or large municipalities and cities increasingly have a mountain bike service or a soft mobility service. This development is likely to become even more pronounced as a result of the new law on cycle routes. Bikeplan has extensive experience in the management of such services at cantonal, municipal and regional level. In this context, we deal with bicycle-specific issues for (or on behalf of) the authorities. We often turn to our radar for bicycle-specific regional development.
It’s our longest project and it’s very close to our hearts. From the outset, Bikeplan has been convinced of the potential of mountain biking to develop tourism in the Valais. After several years’ work, the first new-generation regional mountain bike route is finally ready in the Valais. Here’s the story behind the creation of this route.
