Project description
Starting point
Based on the master plan developed by Bikeplan in 2016, the decision was made to build two flow trails at the Wurzenbord lift.
Our contribution
Bikeplan worked with Velosolutions to develop the detailed alignment. Following discussions with the landowners and client, it was decided to implement just one of the two lines initially. During construction, Bikeplan assured the quality of Velosolutions’ work.
What was created
• A flow trail at the Wurzenbord lift implementing the 2016 master plan
• Alignment coordinated with the alpine pasture cooperative, Pro Natura Oberwallis, Valrando, and cantonal departments
• A technical report providing the basis for approval
• Quality assurance during construction by Velosolutions (2021 to 2022)
