The “Mountain Biking Master Plan for the Jungfrau Region and Interlaken,” previously developed by Bikeplan, identifies development potential for cycling infrastructure and tourism offerings in the region. It provides an overarching planning foundation with a vision and strategy for a period of around 10 years.

Developing the vision and strategy further in the coming years and implementing specific projects and recommendations requires coordination within the subregions and among participating municipalities and local stakeholders. With 28 municipalities, Regionalkonferenz Oberland-Ost is large, diverse, and complex, requiring extensive coordination. Regionalkonferenz Oberland-Ost and Bikeplan therefore established a regional coordination office together.

In addition to overall project coordination and stakeholder management, it takes on product development tasks, developing or refining and implementing specific offerings and services based on the master plan.
