Bike Coordination Office Oberland-Ost

Interdisciplinary Implementation of the "Master Plan Mountainbike Jungfrau Region and Interlaken".

The “Master Plan Mountainbike Jungfrau Region and Interlaken”, developed in advance by Bikeplan, identifies development potential for bike-specific infrastructure as well as tourism offerings in the region.

The master plan serves as an overarching planning framework, providing a vision and strategy for a period of approximately 10 years.

In order to further develop the vision and strategy over the coming years and implement concrete projects and recommendations, coordination within the sub-regions, as well as among the involved municipalities and local stakeholders, is essential.

With 28 municipalities, the Regionalkonferenz Oberland-Ost is large, diverse, and complex, requiring a significant level of coordination effort.

Therefore, the Regionalkonferenz Oberland-Ost, together with Bikeplan, has established a regional coordination office.

In addition to overall project coordination and stakeholder management, this office is also responsible for product development, where concrete offerings and services will be (further) developed and implemented based on the master plan.
